You would think that my body would be kind to me and cease the pain, the congestion, everything for my final final exam- unfortunately, that was not the case.
I walked out of the house feeling fine with my illness, but by the time I got to school, I was super emotional, in pain, and not in the mood to do anything. I still had that killer headache and what's worse? I was dizzy. I tried walking to my car but the dizziness was unbearable. I just wanted to lay flat on the concrete and accept the pain that caused tears to roll down my cheeks. The pain I felt was immeasurable. I couldn't feel my fingers or toes, and my lower back (lumbar region) felt like it had been pierced with a sharp point.
Skipping all of the pain and whatnot...
When I finally got to my car, I called my mother and drove home with the AC on cold so the dizziness would not affect my driving. (ADVICE: IF YOU FEEL DIZZY DUE TO ILLNESS, DRIVE WITH COLD AC ON BECAUSE WARM, DESPITE BEING COMFORTABLE, WILL CAUSE YOU TO BECOME DROWSY WHILE DRIVING!!!)
After I got home, I fell asleep and woke up 4 hours later having endured my fever but still feeling extremely congested. Later, I started feeling nauseous so I drank Sprite (MORE ADVICE: IF YOU FEEL NAUSEOUS, DRINK A FIZZY DRINK WITH CITRUS LIKE ORANGE FANTA OR SUNKIST OR NORMAL 7UP OR SPRITE.)
Okay, this post is getting boring so I'm going to end with the illness issues there and skip to the part where I watched Scooby-Doo with my brother until we both passed out, which was probably one of the best things that occurred that day.
Thank God for annoying little bothers. (:
Side Note: I wrote "bothers" on purpose, my brother bothers me a lot when he wants something.
(:
